Happy Hour Figure Drawing Workshop with Machele Johnson!

Come draw with Spiderweb Salon under the expert guidance of DFW-based artist and model, Machele Johnson!


Ever wanted to draw a live human? Ever wanted to learn how to work with a live model? Want to keep your drawing fresh af? 

Come through and bring yourself and a learning mind! There will be some drawing boards, paper, charcoal, and graphite provided. However materials are limited, so make sure to bring your favorite materials as well. 

We’ll cover the best practices when working with a live human, some traditional figure drawing exercises, ending with a long pose.

Machele Johnson is a Dallas based artist proficient in music, color, and words. She has shown her work with Dark Moon Poetry and Arts and The Spiderweb Salon. Her words focus on the dreamy complexities of sounds and being human in a brown feminine body. She has 3 handmade chapbooks available, "I'm Sorry, But it's Awfully Loud in Here", “Savory Regurgitations of the Heart”, and “Wear Black:Bleed Purple”.
